THIS ONE GOES TO ALL THOSE WHO SWEAT
Alright, let's face it people... when we go out, specially partner dancing, we must use
body odor enhancer.
For people that sweat, specially the people that sweat a lot, I would recomend to always
wear something underneath your club clothes. Anything that can absorb the sweat pretty good
and does not show on the outside. For example, I have a friend who always wears a wife-beater,
I hope most of you know what that is?!?! Since it is cotton, it absors his sweat pretty good
and he told me that when he is out of them he can always go and wear a t-shirt since it's made
of cotton also.
Also another good idea to keep not just the sweat but the odor involving this body function
at bay is to wear cologne in the inner shirt as well. See, if you wear cologne on the outside
only then the oddor from the inside of that inner layer might be kep there and get stronger
and stronger since is a bit trapped. So it's always good to put something in there to keep
the bad odor to a minimum.
Another good idea is, if you are going to wear that inner clothes layer, make sure that the
outer layer of clothes is not as tight to the one inside. Leave some area for ventilation
and space for the outside air to come in, this is always since it can keep you cooler as
well.
I do have a couple more advises for the guys and the ladies.
GUYS:
C'mon guys, we know that most of you guys do sweat when blasting to a Salsa song.
In this case I always tell my guy friends that is always a good idea to bring a second set of
shirts or at least a second inner layer to absorb the sweat. I always also tell them that
if the material is more-like cotton, the better is going to absorb the liquid, but let's face
it, if you wear something very thin and silky-like, you most likely look like a
human-popsicle!
Remember that thin materials like silk do not absorb sweat good, in fact they show it through
immidiately. And it's just discusting when the ladies are dancing with you and can feel all
that liquid in your back... Yuck! That is not a pretty picture guys! - So don't even use
a thin layer alone. This should be ruled out completely because most likely you can't really
wear an inner layer with those types of shirts since they are too tight on your body too.
I know you want to show your muscles and nice manly-body, but remember that no matter how good
you look on silky clothes and tight shirts, you are going dancing, and dancing means sweating,
and sweating means that you will in fact push girls away!
Another good suggestion is if you are going to be waring something dancing, and you sweat a lot,
it's always good to wear a dark colored one. Why dark? Well, dark colors will hide the wet
spots better if you do have them. And it's also good to keep a spare one with you at all
times, you never know when you need a new set of clothes when you danced a whole hour without
stop.
Also, don't forget to take your deodorant and body odor enhancers with you. It's always good
to back up on everything.
Another good suggestion is to bring a piece of towel with you when you go dancing. Don't get
embarrassed to clean yourself after a song or two. It's in fact a lot better when girls know
you sweat a lot, and you are keeping those liquids away from the our hands. Specially since
the neck really doesn't have anything to wear, those towels will come in very handy then. You
can also use the club's napkins, but there is a problem with some of them, sometimes when
cleaning your forehead or neck or some other part, they disolve into little tiny specs, and
since you are sweaty you look like a snow-xmas tree, with little frosts all over your
face and neck and so on. So it's good to test the little napkin first before wiping your
sweaty parts.
Anything else you can think of, it's always good!
LADIES:
Alright, let's admit something here... We sweat as well. You know we do!
Alright ladies, this is what I usually do when I go dancing.
I, as well as the guys, bring my little towel to the club. Mine is more femenine than theirs of
course! It's quite small, and it's good enough to keep me dry during the night. I like it
because it's made from the same material that regular towels are made of. Don't just bring
a hankerchief, they are okay, but don't absorb as much as a mini-towel.
Another good suggestion is if you are going to use make up, keep it to a minimum if you know
you are going dancing - It's going to be dark anyways! - What happens with make up is that when
you put it on, your skin gets covered with it, and it's harder for it to breathe. So it's the less
make it you put on, the drier your skin will be when dancing since it's got more chances to
breath. If you are the type of girl that can't live whitout your make-up, then all you really
need is some lipstick, eye makeup and maybe a bit of blush, but don't go overboard with the
last one. If you are going to use Mascara, then only use for what's it for, for your
eye lids, don't go crazy with it like putting it on the bottom eye lids. If you do, you know
what's going to happen. After a couple of songs you might start looking like a cheap-zombie
movie actrees. Yeah I said it, you know that it will run down your face and make you look
like that chick from the Monsters Show. Trust me, it will smear, so I suggest don't wear
it under the eye.
Also think about this ladies, when you go dancing you will most likely be working out, and I
know that you need to look good when going out, but have you realized that you will get
sweaty, your hair will get messed up, your make up might run and so on. So, you spent
all that time getting ready for only two or three songs, because after that, you know you
will be a bit messy if you go with too much makeup, high hair and silky clothes. So, make
sure you look good, and also feel good. By that I mean that you need to also feel comfortable
when going dancing, and think of the what if's of the night. That always helps.
Another good suggestion for the ladies too is to keep a spare set of clothes with you in your
car or if it's small enough, bring it with you in a bag. That way when a Merengue comes along and
you feel a bit sweaty, you can always change into the new set of clotes in the bathroom. Ladies,
you con't even know... it feels so good to feel refreshed and dry after you change into
a new dress after you wet the last one.
Hope that helps with your sweating problems people.
